Tiger's eye is beautiful stone that is created when Quartz replaces the chemical composition of the fibrous mineral Crocidolite. It is formed when the Quartz takes over and dissolves the Crocodolite, leaving the Quartz in a finely fibrous and chatoyant form (this is where the gleam and reflection of Tiger's eye comes from). Blue Tiger's eye, also known as Hawk's Eye is formed from Quartz fails to complete this process and leaves parts of the stone as Crocidolite.

Blue Tiger's eye is a very soothing stone, that aids in introspection and inner development. This is a great stone to use when you are making long term plans as it helps to focus clarity.
