Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil, Citrus paradisi, is aromatically sweeter than White Grapefruit Oil. It has a fresh, clean, uplifting aroma. Pink Grapefruit Oil is wonderfully uplifting and within aromatherapy work, it is used to help treat mood swings, anger, depression and stress. It is a good astringent for balancing oily skin and hair, and is a useful addition to facial toners. Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil can be added to body wrap blends to aid in cellulite mobilization and elimination.

Grapefruit oil has an overall uplifting and reviving effect. This makes it useful for fatigue. It balances the central nervous system and helps relieve manic depression, nervous exhaustion and performance stress. Has also recently been studied as an appetite-inhibitor.
