Howlite is often founds in shades of gray and white, with darker grey veins running through the stone. It is an evaporate stone that forms from the combination of volcanic ash and water. Howlite commonly forms alongside Gypsum, Quartz, and Calcite.
With it's connection to both elemental Air and Water, Howlite works with both the mental and emotional bodies. As a Crown Chakra stone, it helps support work with the higher planes and higher self, and may assist with inspiration and insight.
Howlite is also a very supportive stone, helping to facilitate feelings of peace and calm anxieties.
