Sulfur powder, also known as Liu Huang, is one of the mineral drugs that are traditionally used in dermatology because of its excellent insecticidal and fungicidal properties. And sulfur soap, as its name implies, is made of this mineral. This kind of sulphurous soap is often used to get rid of acne since it is good at removing facial oil, allaying inflammation, and killing parasites, fungi, mites, and germs. More than that, it has some preventive and adjuvant therapeutic action on a variety of skin problems, e.g,. athlete’s foot, eczema, scabies, psoriasis, tinea versicolor, etc. Sulfur has been used since ancient times to treat certain medical conditions. It is used for its cleansing properties in the treatment of infections. Other medical uses include the elimination of parasites like ticks and fleas, the treatment of specific skin problems such as scabies and dermatitis, and the treatment of bacterial infections.
