Manganoan calcite (also called Pink Calcite or Mangano Calcite) is a variety of Calcite that is rich in Manganese, which gives it a natural pink color. It was first found in the Slovak Republic, but now is it is widely found in Czech Republic, China, Argentina, Mexico, Japan, South Africa, Peru, Romania, Bulgaria, and the United States (Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, Wisconsin).

This is generally considered a stone of peace and well-being. As with all calcites it has a strong water presence, and aids in strengthening the emotional body.
