Frankincense Essential Oil, Boswellia spp, is an ancient oil that has been used for centuries for meditation and spiritual practices. Frankincense Oil helps center the mind and calm the spirit. It is a good expectorant, and it can help relieve asthma and other bronchial congestive problems. Frankincense Essential Oil is woody, balsamic, and slightly spicy. It blends well with many oils including the citrus, spice and woody oils. This oil has a special relationship with pulmonary, urinary and female reproductive conditions. It's traditionally been used in religious ceremonies to aid meditation as it can have the effect of slowing the breathing.
Scent Characteristics: Warm, fresh and rich.
