Muscovite Mica is a quite common stone and has been found in a large number of locations... including Russia, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, New Mexico, Brazil and the USA. The meaning of this stones name relates to one of the places where it was used in large quantities as a building product. In the Muscovy region of Russia it was used to make a window material, known as Muscovy glass.

This stone may be colorless, white, yellow, brown, violet, blue, gray, pink, red or green... and even a mixture of colors. Fuchsite is the green variety of muscovite and carries the properties of muscovite - inspiration, problem solving, intuition, etc. As a heart chakra stone, it links the intellect of the mind with the heart.

Many healers like to have this green stone in their healing rooms, as it is a strong stone to aid you as the healer, to allow your clients to take responsibility for their own healing.
