Lemongrass Essential Oil, Cymbopogon flexuosus, is stimulating, refreshing, increases alertness and concentration, relieves fatigue, aids in digestion, relieves aching muscles, soothes gastric infections and acts as an insect repellent. Used within skin product formulations in very low concentration, Lemongrass Oil is astringent and helps treat acne and oily skin. Lemongrass acts as a good skin toner, but it must be well diluted and used with care. Lemongrass Essential Oil blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, geranium, citronella, rosemary, lavender, palmarosa, tea tree and other oils.
Lemongrass has been shown in scientific trials that it is a powerful antiseptic and anti-bacterial agent; it is also known to be a strong deodorant.
Scent Characteristics: Fresh, grassy-citrus, earthy scent.
NOTE: Keep out of reach of children. Highly concentrated, dilute properly before use. Keep away from eyes & mucous membranes. May cause skin irritation
