This wonderfully unique and uplifting spicy Chai blend gives the traditional Chai tea a welcomed boost. The combination of Tulsi and Assam tea give this blend a rich, full-bodied flavor with aromatic notes of cinnamon and ginger. The Tulsi (Holy Basil) Tea blend is a wonderfully unique and healthful tea providing the diverse therapeutic properties all three Holy basil varieties.
This blend is a tasty combination for Chai lovers that can also help give you a relaxed, balanced state of mind and body, while promoting health and well-being. Chai Teas are usually sweetened, so try adding a pinch of stevia, a dash of vanilla, or even milk. It tastes great whether served hot or cold!
The tea bag paper used to make our tea bags is manufactured from a specially selected blend of manila hemp fiber derived from the leaf stalks of the arbacá plant, cellulose, and thermoplastic fibers, making it strong and durable with a high wet strength. The paper is free of dyes, adhesive, and glue, and is oxygen-bleached (no chlorine used), therefore eliminating dioxins. Compliant for all food standards, including organic. Non-GMO and free of allergens and epichlorohydrin.
Ingredients: Organic Tulsi tea (organic krishna holy basil leaf, organic rama holy basil leaf, and organic vana holy basil leaf), organic Assam T.G.F.O.P. tea, organic cinnamon, organic cardamom seed, organic ginger root, organic cloves, and organic black pepper.
Warning: Not to be used during pregnancy.
Daily serving size: Add 1 tea bag to 8 oz of boiling water (212°F). Steep 4-5 minutes. Add 2 oz of hot milk (or dairy substitute), and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
